We want to adopt a flame arrester with higher backfire prevention and pressure control performance.
Nichidai Filter’s proposal/effect
Flame arresters are a safety device component stipulated in the Fire Service Act, and are installed in the ventilation system of tanks that store flammable fluids.
By allowing only gases to pass through and blocking flames(backfire prevention), flame arresters prevent flames from spreading and minimize damage in the event of a fire.
Laminated sintered wire mesh, with its high strength and finer openings, is more effective in preventing backfire and controlling pressure, making it an even safer proposal than before.
The following effects were observed.
- Uniform opening and pressure drop of laminated sintered wire mesh screen ensures stable safety without individual product variation.
- Ease of maintenance has been improved because the screen can be cleaned to remove adhering material with a simple washing.
