Nichidai Filter Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or “we”) complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and has established the following basic policy on the protection of personal information in order to properly handle personally identifiable information such as individual names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses (hereinafter referred to as “personal information”), pay the utmost attention to the protection of privacy, and respond accordingly.
1. Acquisition of personal information
When acquiring personal information, the Company will clearly indicate the purpose of use and acquire such information by legitimate and fair means within the scope necessary.
2. Handling of personal information
(1) Use within the scope of purposes of use
The Company will not use the acquired personal information beyond the scope of purposes of use without the consent of the provider. Personal information acquired by the Company will be used for the following purposes.
- For business purposes related to products and services handled by the Company
- For execution of necessary business operations such as response to inquiries from customers
- Other purposes of use clearly specified at the time of acquisition of personal information

Please note that the Company may disclose the acquired personal information in the following cases. Even in the following cases, however, we will demand the proper handling of the personal information provided and will manage such information appropriately.
- In the case where an information provider consents to provide related information to a third party
- In the case where personal information is provided to an outsourcing contractor to the scope necessary for the achievement of a purpose of use
- In the case where we receive an official and legally grounded inquiry from a public institution such as a court or the police
- In the case where there is an imminent danger to the life, body, or property of a third party or the interested party, indicating an urgent need for the disclosure of the related information
(3) Appropriate management of personal information
The Company will take appropriate safety measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc. of such information. In addition, we will make employees who handle personal information recognize the importance of personal information protection, and will regularly provide them with the necessary education.
3. Inquiries
In case we receive a request for disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information from the person who provided such information, the Company will, after confirming that the request was made by the person himself/herself, respond appropriately to a reasonable extent.

4. Legal compliance and improvement
The Company will comply with laws and regulations, notifications and other rules related to the protection of personal information and will perform continuous improvement to ensure appropriate handling of personal information. In addition, we will reflect improvements in this Privacy Policy as needed.
