Customer’s issues/concerns
- Need to vacuum, supply air to, and convey powders.
- Looking to improve bridging, blockages, scattering, and powder leakage.
Nichidai Filter’s proposal/effect
The “stainless porous bodies” that can be processed into various shapes are porous bodies with diverse pore structures on their surfaces and interiors, achieved through diffusion bonding (sintering) of metal materials.
Thanks to the uniformly distributed airflow resistance of our stainless porous bodies, adjustments can be made for vacuuming and supplying air to powders. This leads to smoother powder handling by addressing issues such as bridging, blockages, scattering, and powder leakage. Based on consultations, we design these within our company. We propose shapes and installation methods that align with existing equipment and facilities.
Features:
- Achieves uniformly distributed airflow resistance due to layered sintering of fine metal mesh.
- Prevents leakage of fine powders through screens tailored to particle sizes.
- Can be installed without major modifications to existing piping and equipment.
- Can provide suggestions ranging from cost-effective and simple installation to facility modifications.
